What kind of songs will we be learning?

We will be learning a handful of songs from a wide and varying pool of genres - from simple rounds, Gospel, African, Sacred, Taize songs - to more contemporary, originals, pop songs, various forms of world music in various different languages. Celebratory songs, Songs for the different seasons... the list goes on. But please don't be put off or daunted in any way by this. All songs will be taught by ear and at a pace which is comfortable for the group. Occasionally we may have some written words as reminders for some of the more tricky, wordy songs. But in general we will just learn together by listening and repetition until we reach that magical moment when we get it!! Yay!!
